These trees were modeled and textured from a selected group of trees native to South Dakota: American Elm, Bur Oak, Quaking Aspen, Cottonwood, and Green Ash. All of the trees were modeled in Maya, retopologized in Zbrush, and textured in Substance Painter. I was also able to create some folliage within Blender to cover the trees, including a large bur oak modeled and textured by a team member named Triniti Smith.
